Jaipur. Two-day Indo Global Summit on Oncopathology (IGSO) “BMCON-V” started on Monday at hotel marriott. This is State's first international conference on Oncopathology Organized by Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Center. In this 2 day summit, 200 cancer specialists from all over the world will be discussing the latest practices and challenges of cancer screening.
1st day of BMCON-V- A live workshop was organized with hands-on training in the direction of Dr. David J. Dabbs, Director of the workshop & Dr. Geeta Shree Mukherjee, Tata Memorial Hospital, Kolkata. During workshop, information about how the examination of cancer in various organs, including breast, stomach intestine, mouth, skin, lungs should be done with existing set of investigations was shared in panels headed by Dr Ajay Yadav, (Head-Pathology Department, SMS)

Organizational secretary of BMCOM-V, Dr. Anjali Sharma said that role of pathology in cancer treatment is very important, that’s way this year the BMCOM-V is being organized on the subject of oncopathology. “How cancer cells spread in patient?” What kind of medical practice will give better results in the treatment? & whether the treatment is being done, in the right direction or not? These
are some of the questions which essays that “Role of oncopathology” is very important in finding the right line of treatment”.
