Delhi.A delegation of All India Kisan Sabha will visitMandsaur and Pipiliya Mandi in Madhya Pradeshon 13th June 2017 where six farmers were killed in police firing. The delegation comprises of AIKS president Amra Ram ex MLA, the General Secretary Hannan Mollah ex MP, K Somaprasad MP (Rajya Sabha), Dr. Vijoo Krishnan and P. Krishnaprasad ex MLA all leaders of AIKS. The delegation will visit the family members of the victims, the leaders of the agitating farmer’s organizations and the District collector and take stock of the situation.
Along with other peasant and agriculture worker organizations, the AIKS has been in the forefront of the agitation all over the country for implementing M S Swaminathan commission recommendation of 50% profit above the cost of production for all crops and comprehensive loan waiver to peasantry.
