Uttar Pradesh: Son of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri , Anil Shastri aforesaid on Tuesday that Congress-SP alliance can get relative quantity because the alliance goes to convert 250 seats within the assembly polls.
Shastri was in Sangam town to campaign for party candidate Associate in Nursing Singh, contesting from town North assembly section.
He claimed that the youth Jodi of Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi is being likable and appreciated by the folks across the state and this was evident from the large crowds at their roadshows. He conjointly praised chief minister Akhilesh Yadav for launching welfare schemes across the state.
Shastri claimed that in 2012 assembly elections, SP and Congress had got twenty-nine and twelve per cent votes severally and, if combined, the vote share proportion can translate into a win for the alliance.
